Community Life Batemans Bay Inc.

Community Life Batemans Bay is a non-profit organisation established in 2006. Our primary purpose is to work with those in need within our community.

Community Life Batemans Bay Incorporated is a non-profit organisation, whose primary objects are the direct relief of poverty, sickness, destitution, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability and helplessness and for the benefit of the health and wellbeing of the community of Batemans Bay or sections of it, including children, youth, families and the Aboriginal community.

At Community Life Batemans Bay we are working towards our goals of helping those in need within our community through several free programs as well as two accommodation services.

Our programs include:
Grief & Loss - A free program for people who have lost a loved one and need support during this difficult period. This program has received very positive feedback from previous participants.

Help for Gamblers - Help for people who experiencing problem with gambling.

Mental Health Family Support Group - Support and friendship for relatives of family members who suffer from addictions and / or mental health illnesses, with guidance from doctors, psychologists and other health professionals.

Mum 2 Mum - A support group for Mums with new babies, to provide an opportunity to enjoy the company of other new Mums, share a cuppa and cake and meet new friends. Mum 2 Mum is held in the Anglican Church hall every Tuesday from 10am to 12 noon.

A.T.O.P - All Together On Purpose provides a venue for people (especially the over 50’s) to gather together for FUN! FRIENDSHIP! GAMES!

Cancer Support Group - A self help group which meets together over a cuppa to support each other. Meets on the last

Hope Fellowship - A free fellowship and support group to assist people who are struggling with issues in their life including addiction, abuse, depression or other issues which generally make life unmanageable.

Our two accommodation programs are:
Hope House provides medium term accommodation for homeless men through co-ordinated programs, assistance and support which will help these men re-engage with and become active, contributing and fulfilled members of our community.

Hope Place provides emergency accommodation for homeless men, women and families through our facility which is based in a coastal setting. Hope Place is a drug, alcohol and violence free environment.
Clients will be able to access Community Life support programs while they are staying at Hope Place.
